The story begins in 1952 and chronicles Gigi Dupres from a four-year-old to young adulthood. As she navigates a mid-century world fraught with dysfunction, sexism, religious angst, misfortune, recession, and many other challenges, she discovers a connection to the world of theatre and determines what she is truly meant to do.  It is a story that strikes at the heart of what it means to grow up, of hanging on and letting go, of remembering not so much what happened, but how it felt.
